ARTSOPOLIS

One of the Arts Council’s most successful programs is the Artsopolis Marketing Partnership (AMP) and Artsopolis.com, Silicon Valley’s leading calendaring website dedicated to promoting the region’s arts and cultural scene. To view this project, click on the logo above.

ArtsChoice™, the council’s workplace giving program, is currently one of only two campaigns in California raising funds for the arts in the workplace. This innovative program is coordinated on behalf of over 150 small to mid-sized arts groups at 20 sites throughout the Valley. Workplace giving offers employees a cost-effective and convenient method of contributing to the arts in their community through payroll deductions. Employees can make contributions to the Arts Council for our grants program, or designate funds to a particular arts organization.

The proceeds received from ArtsChoice™ are particularly meaningful for smaller arts groups that may not have the resources to run their own campaigns or have dedicated fundraising staff. ArtsChoice™ is often conducted simultaneously with overall workplace-giving campaigns, which include other federations like Earth Share of California, United Way and Community Health Charities.

Last year the program raised more than $123,877. This is the fourth year in a row this program has surpassed $100,000.

Arts Council development staff provides services to campaign sites including presentations, brochures, pledge forms and campaign incentives.
