If you have a United Way campaign, you can add ArtsChoice.

How to start a WorkPlace Giving Campaign at your company:

  1. Create a leadership group within your company to investigate establishing a workplace giving program.
  2. Identify a chair for the campaign who is a well known and respected senior staff person.
  3. Decide what federations, in addition to the Arts Council, you want to include in your campaign.
  4. A letter from the CEO, or Vice President to all employees announcing the campaign.
  5. Include a time line for the campaign.
  6. Determine what incentives, if any, you would offer to donors. Choices may include: raffles, pot luck and wearables.
  7. Develop a list of potential departments or divisions in your company who will be effected or can help with the campaign, meet with these individuals to determine their interest and support:
    • Community Relations Department
    • Human Resources Department
    • Payroll Department
  8. Establish a budget for your first campaign that
    covers the cost of promotional materials,
    pledge cards and incentives.
  9. Set a realistic goal for your efforts. Remember: In any new fund raising effort, success takes time.
