Music & Arts, established in 1967, pre-dates Arts Council Silicon Valley as the first agency in the Valley to offer support to Santa Clara County performing and visual arts groups by facilitating a collaborative fundraising effort. Music & Arts was adopted as one of Arts Council’s programs in 1986 and since then has worked with a select number of local, volunteer-driven, small and midsized arts organizations, providing development training and administrative assistance for their annual fundraising drives.

Through Music & Arts, Arts Council's services reduce participants' overhead expenses fundraising costs including printed materials, donation processing, donor payment options and donor list management.
